I'm beginning to appreciate being CompTIA certified on both Network+ and Security+ because of their free webinars. I recently attended my first webinar entitled "Security, Prviacy and You," which gave me 1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) point or credit.

I haven't uploaded any CEUs yet (for my CCNP Security, Network+ and this webinar) since CE fees need to be paid first. I'll be doing this before my Security+ expires on June 2018. I have the option of either taking again the Security+ exam (newer code) or pay 150 USD to extend it for another 3 years.

I was late for 10 minutes and wasn't able to get the CEU cert even though I attended the live webinar. I was only able to download the CEU PDF cert when I watched it again and completed the required 60
minutes.
Renewing Security+ will automatically renews lower level cert
such as Network+. This info can be found on this link.
To add CEU points, go to CompTIA portal.
Click Continuing Education > Choose CE Intent Level > Add
CEUs.
