Cisco Export Compliance Tool

The Cisco products, software, and technology (Cisco products) are subject to export controls under the laws and regulations of the United States (U.S.), European Union (EU) and other applicable countries’ export laws and regulations. Export, re-export, transfer, and use of Cisco products may require obtaining U.S. and local authorizations, permits, or licenses.

There's a free Cisco Export Compliance online tool to check the Export Control Classification Number (ECCN), Harmonized System (HS) and other info on various Cisco products. This is useful when dealing with a courrier or customs in other countries.

In the example, I tried to search for the Export Compliance codes for a Cisco 4331 ISR router.

Type Product ID: ISR4331/K9 > click Search (bottom page).
